Not sure how many of you read about this I saw yesterday that Sacramento State has joined the MAC for football only and is $5 Million to go FBS and $18 Million to join that conference plus the travel for their away games is going to be crazy

We play one FBS Game a year I would like to change that and play two every year by adding Buffalo every year as a home and away game

I really don’t have any inside information regarding this however only because the NDST AD Matt Larson played at SBU I believe they play the game here, however I could see them not playing us when when the game is on their field because it’s costing NDST $17 Million to make the move. $5 Million to go from FCS to FBS and $12 Million to the Mountain West to join their Conference so they would have to pay us to come out there so that’s why I think they will back out and get a game that will pay them.

From 2019-2023 I believe SBU had a record of 13-35 I think I’m correct so I believe we’re on the right track and after two years Cosh has a 14-10 record so far

Under Cosh we have won 14 games and how many wins did we have with Priore his 5 years so we’re moving in the right direction and this is my opinion only but I can see us winning 8 or 9 games this year

Each Conference sets their own limits for how many Scholarships and PWO's at least that what I was told. Because SBU is a NYS University they can also bring in qualifying players to the EOP (Equal Opportunity Program). I don't know what the CAA has decided in regard to how many Scholarships each program can offer, if anyone knows please share with us.

In my opinion we make the playoffs this year I base it on other than Bache leaving the coaching staff is going into its 3rd year and they’ve had 3 very good recruiting classes. Also even though SBU lost a lot of players to graduation and some to the portal the coaches are very happy what they have returning plus the new commitments so I personally expect better results than last year.

Both players are back as neither of them got the offers that they expected so that’s great for our defense
