Waking up the next morning there are so many stats that dont feel real. 27 assists to 8 turnovers, 38 points off the bench. Id have to imagine the first game of at least 39 pts, 13 assists and 7 rebounds in sbu history, that game saving 3 from Goods (to go along with 4 assists and 3 blocks). What a game! Now we get to enjoy it until Thursday.

Nice to have a game where you have to go to the 2nd page of replies to see the latest!

Lost in the excitement of Thursday was that we won despite Pratt only going 1-4 from 3. Weve talked a lot of the season about how would we win on a night Pratt didnt have it from deep but the answer is starting to show. Don’t know if Goods taking 7 threes a night is sustainable but maybe hes got another chance for that against CoC assuming their 7 footers wont be able to guard him out on the perimeter. Feels like were alive again!!

The forum lives on! Great preview Oakes. This feels like a must win if we want this season to be interesting at all given the upcoming schedule.

Really sorry to see the game previews come to an end Checkmate, they were one of my favorite parts of the basketball season. I think I've read every one since you started in 2015. Best of luck with your new years resolution. Promise us if this team turns it around and makes a run somehow you’ll post some playoff previews for posterity sake!

Great win. Credit to geno for getting depth at the PG position. Collins injury was a lot easier to stomach knowing we had two capable PGs on the bench. Wouldn’t have been able to say the same last year.

Never a doubt. The "Ethan Simmon Game"

Say what you want about Stony Brook and its all true but do not say our bigs cant miss layups. We miss layups better than anyone in the country

No we know why they've been playing bad. Checkmate took his eye off the game.

Make these last 3 halfs of basketball make sense checkmate, please.

Follow up, Valentiny and Gorman combined for 38 minutes at the PF position yesterday and came down with 0 defensive rebounds. How does that happen??

Are we getting to the point where we don't mind Goods shooting from 3? 5-9 from 3 vs D1 and 2-3 each of his last 2 games. Kind've grasping at straws to find something positive after yesterday but if I had told you Goods would have 17 assists to 6 turnovers and be 6-13 from 3 over his first 6 games you'd have been very optimistic about this team.

About as bad as we can play. Turnover every possession on offense and foul every possession on defense.

Only hope for tomorrow is that Yale sees a big regression to the mean from the 3 pt line on both sides of the ball. Outside of that happening, I'm looking forward to seeing how our new cast looks vs top tier team. Can Pratt still score at will? Which RB3 do we get? Can Butler, Andrej and Valentiny provide meaningful minutes off the bench? Should be a good one! Also noticed were playing @Villanova for football at the same time. Pretty nice sports day against two top notch schools. Good to be in both of their company. Easy to forget when were playing D3s that more often than not were playing really top notch universities as a result of CAA/D1.
