Anyone in particular you're excited about, Campi?

My concern is that this is the second straight year they chose the wrong QB to start the season. Knoop was better than Marshall. Boyd was better than Zellous. Hopefully Boyd stays, and he know who the starter is going into the season

Unfortunately couldn't be there. Don't like that we were outscored 16-3 in the third quarter.

I like Boyd at QB. Obviously he's not as dynamic running the ball, but I just want to see someone consistently make the easy throws

Huge game for Stony Brook.  Hopefully the team is well rested and some of the injured players are back.

Bet the over

If anyone else takes pleasure in Albany fan's pain, their message board has been a fun read https://bigpurplefans.ipbhost.com/forum/9-fall-sports-football-soccer-volleyball-cross-country-field-hockey/
From their board: “Eh. In this day and age with NIL, them chasing the $, they are now semi-professional athletes with zero loyalty so I have no loyalty to them. If they suck, they suck. I'd hazard to guess that 90% of them will NOT have a UAlbany degree.”
I get this. Except for the top P4 programs, it’s hard to get excited about lower-tier programs with all the churn.

I feel this way about hoops. Complete roster turnover every season is making it really hard to follow the team. Cosh, to his credit, has a done a great job of keeping the football team together

it was a bad loss yesterday maybe one of the worst for sb football. we had not heard of them before the schedule came out and I think they thought it would be a easy win.

why does sb still have football?

Lindenwood had a win over #6 SEMO last year. They're new to d1 but they're not door mats. Far from the worst loss for sb football.

That said, does feel like this season is over already

Brutal so far. We look bad everywhere

On Saturday the team was missing three of their opening day starters on the O line (Papic, Inge, and Allen). From my point of view, the guys still played great, but probably something to keep an eye on.

12
Similarly was unaware of Lindenwood. Looks like they're a recent division 1 move up, but they've actually been pretty good. They beat SEMO last year who went to the FCS playoffs

13
Where is AJ Roberts playing on defense now? Is he one of the hybrid lb safety positions?

Was at the game. It's great way for a family to spend a Saturday. Highly recommend getting out to lavalle this fall.

Thought the team looked great. Hopefully the momentum carries into next week

Dempster was still pretty impressive. A lot of yards after contact. 4.1 yards per carry when the offense was only getting 1.8 per play is pretty great.
