The next four games will be a huge test for this young team. I think we'll be competitive, but it's going to be hard to come by wins.

If you don't go in to every game thinking you can win, then there's no point even showing up. Still the next 4 will be a huge test, and the stiff competition will certainly get this team ready for the bulk of America East play that starts at the end of March!

I wouldn't be surprised if we win 1 or 2 of these. Our offense at least up to now is huge. I think they backed off on some of these wins -Mercy Rule?   This team can score so hopefully they  just go out  play their game.

Yeah i was getting live updates from a friend who was at JHU while I gave him live updates of the SB vs Binghamton. Awesome win. They should jump into the top 20 with this one. I'm glad we have one dominant lacrosse team! Duke on Monday!!!!!

Another  great effort! Losing to # 5 Duke by a goal is not shabby . Hope they  keep it up into conference  play.

These girls are unbelievalble. I'm shocked that they are already playing at this level.

Not shocked at all. With the talent that Coach Spallina brought over with him from Adelphi (including the freshmen that changed commitments from Adelphi to SBU), plus snagging Hillier from the Florida Gators and the returning cast, this is no surprise to me at all. FYI- Media poll released yesterday (Monday) had SBU unranked and no listing of others recieving votes, Laxpower has them unranked but 2nd among "others recieving votes" (so technically, #22). IWLCA coaches 4th among others recieving votes. After this performance, they will be ranked top 20 in all polls. Guarantee. This was huge for their confidence going into the next pair of games on the road at Florida and Maryland, very similar teams to Duke that our SB girls know they can beat if they play their best!

Florida schooled us yesterday. I didn't expect such an outcome at all. 17-4
