Dorm party hopping on Thursday and Friday nights when the drinking age was 18 is my favorite memory. The beer flowed from kegs, so everyone was buzzed and dancing (disco and new wave at the time).
I was shocked to find out that Professor Michael Zweig still teaches there as regular faculty! I took his Economics class back in the '70s. He was a DYED IN THE WOOL COMMUNIST.  For one of his classes the required reading was The Communist Manifesto by Karl Marx. Zweig was basically a nice guy and Marxism wasn't out-of-fashion back then as it is now, but I was amazed to find out he's still teaching where he started.... almost 35 years later. There was also a "professional student" named Mitch Cohen who ran an left wing organization called The Red Balloon. I wouldn't be surprised if he was still living under some rock on campus, somewhere.

Does anyone remember "The Bridge" the on campus bar/club that was located upstairs in the old union. Me and Joewillie worked there for 2 yrs. We made a killing at the door, you would be surprised what  kids would pay to get into a bar. Irving A313 was our rm, and besides dorm parties we had other options like Carringtons, the original Park Bench, and the Checkmate, and Big Barry's. Also anyone remember Prof. Kennedy and his class requirement trip to D.C., it was like cheech and chong go on a school trip, and I am including the Prof when I say that. Any way always loved the Brook.
