OT: Marcus Henry, Newsday sports journalist, dies at 41
« on: April 04, 2014, 06:14:18 pm »
Boy. This really hit me hard. A long time supporter of Stony Brook athletics. He used to call in to the Sports Section pretty much every Sunday to talk Seawolves athletics. A great contributor and now he is gone. The privilege of life can be taken away so easily. What a shame. Rest in peace Marcus Henry. My heart goes out to his family.

sad news.  longtime equipment manager dan arena succumbed to cancer: http://stonybrookathletics.com/news/2016/11/9/general-stony-brook-mourns-loss-of-longtime-staff-member-daniel-arena.aspx

Dan was a good dude. He always made sure you had the proper equipment. I know personally he went out of his way to take care of my brother with his equipment needs. Back in the day you could always find him at the Bench and since we had no money, he'd buy u a beverage. RIP Danny, you'll be missed.
