tues night at St. A's, might be rainy.  SHU has some scorers- including our former x attackman (jack walsh).  hopefully we can keep up the FO momentum.

wish list: get desky healthy; use our newfound FO prowess to jump on teams and learn how to play with a lead

any updates on 91 would be appreciated.

not silly- most likely recruiting- St. A's is arguably the top program in the country with a rich history.  we don't get St. A's kids.  we have two i think and two more coming in, as Coach Chan is an alum, a former coach, and i think his dad coaches there too.  other teams do this- like duke.

the announcers just said SHU is on spring break, so they must've agreed to come down to the island, and that's why SB is in their away colors.

Gotcha, and it makes sense. Every little bit helps in recruiting.

CVG at x, gets topside and wraps low to low. 9-8 SHU

so that's 6 games, 3 OT for the gilardi administration.  pearson gets the GWG in each. https://stonybrookathletics.com/news/2020/3/3/mens-lacrosse-mens-lax-sacred-heart.aspx (he also scored the last goal in the fairfield loss)

riding and clearing was good tonight; SHU committed 24 TOs.  we looked great in the first stanza and then- not.

not a great night because we built and early lead and should've put them away- in front of perhaps a different crowd (?).  but if we get past bryant on saturday, those pollsters will be coming.

hart and BC win.  bingo lost to a good army squad and albanY to a good UMass team.

so even though my guess was off- here's a poll (admittedly flawed) that shows St. A's is among the very best programs: https://www.insidelacrosse.com/article/under-armour-il-top-25-high-school-power-rankings-preseason/55994

SWR is on there too- incoming goalie.

Stony Brook’s Pearson the hero again
If it’s overtime, give Caleb Pearson the ball. He led Stony Brook to another clos victory, scoring in OT to beat Sacred Heart 13-12 in a game held at St Anthony’s. It was his third overtime winner for the Seawolves this season. Stony Brook is off to a 5-1 start, its best since 2016. Tom Haun had three goals and an assist, and goalie Michael Bollinger made 11 saves, including a game-saving stop near the end of regulation.
