that's another nisky recruit out, along with pfohl.  byrne too- is he still IR?

Aiden Byrne left at the end of last season and was expected to show on the Monmouth Roster. I don't see him?
Gotta believe the SB - Nisky connection has taken a hit.

Byrne is on the UMASS roster.

Byrne is another recruit that I knew wasn't D1 material - he is too slow for NCAA lacrosse.

thanks JW.

Niskayuna, NY / Niskayuna HS
Attack
#18

I think he's a lefty.  he's definitely a bigger body, more time to grow too.  and he runs track.

for what it's worth (not much), here is the national HS computer rating: http://www.laxpower.com/update15/binboy/natlccr.php

Niskayuna 2015 #11 (21-2)
some impressive wins there over ranked teams.  lost close one to st Anthony's, another to darien, destroyed shen (twice), beat Syosset and west genny.  those are huge wins.  likely more in the next two years!

also aidan byrne from nisky is a senior attacker heading to SB next fall.

There is no way this kid runs on the track team, but possibly involved in the shotput.  The problem with the two Nisky kids coming to Stony Brook is that are on the slow side. They both have tremendous size and strength, but their lack of speed will hurt them at the next level.

Speed is everything. Game tempo seems to be getting faster and faster. Potential shot clock will make it even faster

Inside Lacrosse ranked SB #2 in preseason conference rankings.

1) Albany
2) SB
3) Binghamton
4) UMBC
5) Vermont
6) UMASS Lowell
7) Hartford

That ranking is higher than I expected
