nice story on corpo: https://www.tapinto.net/towns/somers/articles/somers-corpolongo-pays-it-forward

Quote
On Jan. 20, Corpolongo received a letter from the father of an 8-year-old Seawolves fan, who attended every home game to watch his favorite player. Christopher DeLustro, the boy’s father, said his son, Christopher Jr., has been watching the Stony Brook lacrosse team since 2014.

“We love the father-son time we share watching you and your teammates play,” DeLustro wrote. “We talk about the game, how well you played and what he could learn by watching you.”

DeLustro said his son has been playing lacrosse since he was 3 years old and wants to attend Stony Brook, where he also went to school.

“Every time we attend a lacrosse game, he insists he is going to Stony Brook University just like his favorite player, Corpolongo,” DeLustro wrote.

in terms of PT, again it looks like pugal and rees on pole, with anderson/gestner/abdellatif at close, mixing these guys in for a 2 pole faceoff (shorty low).  it also looks like robison and matsuoka are running d-mid but also some 2 way, hart.  daly on second mid with pickel.

good intensity on d today and same for the slide timing.  obviously a bad first Q but we just couldnt finish.  the one thing we might be missing this year is the outside shot (except corpo).  last year we had hughes and rogers.  maybe now its lloyd and daly.

we dominated TOP and this will help against UA.  grippe is a good off ball player, continually cutting far pipe.  if asking how did SJ blow the 4 goal lead?  flags.  our transition is strong, clears perfect again.  our poles and d-mids want to push and we have depth.  EMO continues to be a strength.

nobody had more than 1 turnover.

i didnt know CVG was originally from LI (long beach).

watching the replay, macie had a monster second half.  13 assists on 14 scores is nice.

in limited time, i saw some really good play from fraietta.

trivia- when was the last time SB scored 14 unanswered?

COTB, would love to know your lacrosse background because your post game analysis is spot on.
I would like to add a couple of observations. Tyler Anderson is a beast when on the wing. When he is paired up with
Rees, wow!! something special. Bitzer seems to be a very steady calming influence with all the young guns we now have on offense.
Mac in goal is crazy good when in a groove.Corp is a true sniper. With our overall  team make up, we can not look past anyone.
Lots of close games in our future.
