Duddy was on 2nd mid line w/Andreassi, maybe he moves up but something tells me that Nagle is not done tweeking this roster.

Could be Duddy no doubt, but an upgrade would be nice.

Seems we are taking care of the faceoff situation head-on.  In the last few months, Nagle has signed or secured a verbal from: Lucatuorto '16, Lindsay '16, Rowe '17, and Calvagna '18.  Kyle Rowe may be the best of them, but its so hard to tell at this point.

And Ferreira '16 can faceoff too.

Sucks about Bellando but it's Nagle's team now.  It is a bit surprising since he played pretty much every minute of every game last year.

I know.  This upset me all day.  Thats the kinda fan i am!

Looking forward, though, we have a lot of attackmen coming in during the next two years.  And you can count on Nagle finding talent to fill the gaps.

I wonder if Tundo gets reassigned to attack, his original position.  Even when he was on mid, i recall him going to attack after the faceoff.  Sometimes.

I guess those are tough decisions coaches have to make.  Hopefully he lands at another good school.

I would have to think that maybe this was Bellando's decision. It would be hard to believe that a would be junior who started most gms and had 20+ goals would be cut. Maybe Jacksonville to be close to home ( they have had a good # of tranfers the last couple of yrs ). Whatever the reason a huge loss for the team.

I know it's early but any word on next years schedule?  I know we added Maryland, I'm assuming that starts away.  Did we keep UVA and Yale?  Knowing how Nagle keeps everythng so close the the vest we won't have an offical roster and schedule until Dec.

This team has a ton of question marks coming into the new school year. We have some really good talent coming back with guys like Tundo, Rooney, Millican, and hopefully Brady. Other than them I'm not really sure what to expect. Nagle has done a terrific job recruiting so far. Hopefully some of the freshman are ready to contribute immediately and he can bring in a couple more impact transfers like Tundo and Brady.

I saw an interesting link on lax power that shows how much funds each school commints to lax...was a bit surprised that SBU was only ranked 25th, behind such schools as Quinnipiac and even Vanderbilt.  It was tough to see Hofstra ranked 5th but I'm sure that has grown since they dropped football.

Of course Stony Brook commits a ton of funds to Football and Hoops and I'm sure they with continue to up the baseball funding but lax does get a fair amount of fans into the stands.
