Lots more chatter on the Laxpower threads for both Hof and UNC.  All speculation. 

However, i have to question this- he likely had a half or better scholarship at UNC.  Lets assume places like Hofstra have scholarships tied up for the next few years already, so its difficult to get substantial $$$ over to a junior with a busted foot mid year.  That just makes places like Hofstra that much more expensive; and im assuming places like lets say GT or Princeton dont take transfers (that might have academic issues, no less). 

Then again, all it takes is a scholarship kid out the door to free up the money to bring one in.  And from what im reading, that is exactly whats happening at Hofstra.
