Not sure if that is a good thing or bad. I liked the idea SB is the only div1 college football on Long Island..

They would need funding for 63 scholarships. We are far enough away from each other   I don't think we would draw their crowds .

In addition, McBride made a splash as a freshman with 44 goals which earned him America East Rookie of the Year honors in 2008.

McBride, a three-time Tewaaraton Award watch list selection, went on the be selected as the 13th overall pick by the Colorado Mammoth in the 2011 NLL Draft after he received his degree in Business Management from Stony Brook. He is currently a firefighter in Burnaby, British Columbia.

Just wondering if someone else has this same feeling as i do. I feel as if Joe Spalina is eyeing a move over to the SB boys Lacrosse. I am only saying this because I follow Joe on Twitter and he likes to follow the Mount Sinai boys Varsity Lax. He is showing a lot of interest in boys varsity lately. Maybe it is just me!!!!!

If Joe does make the improbable move over to the men's side i still see the chick Lax being a power house team. Kylie O'Miller would be a great HC for SB . She has a huge following and top HS girls would still want to play for her. It's a win win for SB...

KO must feel she has "unfinished business" at SB. Winning a championship as a HC is one way to finish it.

Not a bad idea. Dont read too much into him following boys lax, he is from that area and has sons that play. Also has boys club teams.

I hope and think Spallina will stay put until he takes the women’s program that he built across finish line. (Final four/National title)

Wont be easy replacing Kylie and Murphy next year.

Very true. KO and Murphy are irreplaceable. It Might even  take a few more years for Spallina to develop that next crop of star players. But it certainly seems he is capable of doing so and will be fun to watch.
