3d lacrosse, LI Tide, Empire State Cup, 2014 Brine National Classic, Philly Showcase,

2016 All County, 2016 All Conference, 2016 All Metro Honorable Mention, Section 11A Goalie of the Year, and was named national player of the week this year for two big games: http://www.laxmagazine.com/high_school/boys/2015-16/news/050516_smithtown_west_ryan_erler_named_epoch_lacrosse_magazine_high_school_boys_national_player_of_the_week

He registered 184 saves in 18 games in 2016.  Smithtown West went 12-6 this year, beating powerhouse #1 Smithtown East in OT, losing to WM in the county final. http://laxpower.com/update16/binboy/XSMINY.PHP

I'm guessing there's a 99% chance that this kid starts at a freshman at Stony Brook.  He has a chance to be the best keeper in Stony Brook history.

Actually, Melville beat Smithtown East in OT earlier in the season. Melville is rolling right now and Smithtown played an ultra conservative game in the semis.  I'll take the team on a roll versus the team that has the coach thinking too much. Go Pats!

go to 250 and you can see all three of munoz's goals. http://www.insidelacrosse.com/article/photos-ward-melville-n-y-makes-dramatic-comeback-to-win-class-a-title/49820
Munoz is a beast. Did you happen to watch the Ward melville football suffolk championship game last year?? Munoz was amazing in that game. SB is getting a trophy Lax players from WM nest year.. My son said the school was electrified the next day after the game.

Erler, Munoz and Walsh made the Newsday All-Long Island Teams. Munoz is on the First Team.

Do we think any of these freshmen or some of the other recruits can contribute next year? I know the team is young

We had 3 on the All-Rookie team last year
