I think I'm the only person that puts up stuff on this website that was on the sidelines for the Air Force game and the Utah State game so I feel that I have a pretty good perspective for both games I'm not going to defend or bash Coach P. but rather from my vantage point what I saw.

The offense as whole even though the score doesn't show it we actually played better against Utah State than Air Force

Carbone could not generate anything last year and I believe that our Stats support that while this year Fields was shaky however in the Bryant game last week SBU was on the one yard line and sneaked in but he took a very big hit that hurt his shoulder however they thought he was fit to start but his passes were all over the place ( by the way he was at times off last week as well) but he has more athleticism than Cassidy so that/s why he started once they realized he wasn't getting it done they brought in Cassidy who did a great job but he lacks the speed that Fields has.

The RB's last year could not gain yards against Air Force while White and Neget were able to get positive yards, By the way in the Bryant game 2 of our RB's got hurt Alex Indelagado tore his ACL while Ty'Son Lawton had a bad sprained ankle which prevented him from even traveling with the team.

The passing game against Air Force was terrible SBU did manage to get positive yards. The thing I was surprised that we should have tried getting the TE's more involved to loosen up the running game.

OL was really bad last year at Air Force and I felt our OL against Utah State was up and down but still only sub par as I felt they should have been driving the DL back more on the running plays.

Last year against Air Force they ran the triple option which we couldn't defend all game while against Utah State they ran a play every 3 seconds and SBU could not set up  their defensive set which enabled to run off huge chunks of yardage. In both cases because SBU never saw those offenses they never were able to defend, In the Utah State game our fierce tackling knocked out 3 Utah players from the game that never returned.

Special teams were bad against both teams however on the punt return td on the replay in the stadium you can definitely see the SBU player being held. On all the kick offs in the Utah State they were either in the end zone or we called a fair catch because the coaches thought we couldn't get to the 25 so they decided not to let him return any of the kickoffs.

In wrapping up we probably won't have around 3 players from this game because of injuries. SBU practices on Sundays after every game and takes off on Mondays the reason is to address all mistakes including the ones that the coaches make.

What I said here is my opinion and no one elses
