The Bolden hit, which was assessed to be a targeting penalty, was hardly the first act of illicit violence between the two teams on Saturday. The whole game was filled with shoving, late hits and even a punch thrown by Stony Brook redshirt-freshman defensive back Elijah Duff on a particularly chippy kick return. Serving on the Seawolves punt return team, senior fullback Anthony Anderson ran offside and knocked one of the three Wagner upbacks onto his back with an apparent head injury.

Wagner is now 3-7, plays in a weaker conference and received a $100,000 payout to play the Seawolves on their senior day, Newsday reported.

Have we talked about the game Gowins had on saturday? I think he's looked really good the last couple of weeks and is starting to live up to his hype coming out of high school. Hopefully he can keep it going Saturday and into the playoffs

Gowins had a really good game yeah. We've always had a good stable of running backs, so between him and Liontine, Bedell doesn't need to rush back. Bolden is the bigger loss, but if we can handle Maine, he'll have that extra two weeks to rest hopefully before a second round playoff game in December. Having Bolden back by Saturday is very optimistic. I see no need to rush him back. I'd hope we could handle Maine without him.

I came to the Wagner early just to take my hat off to all those seniors it good but sad it was good to see these young men graduate and get ready for that new chapter in there young lives sad because i watched COACH P come out and not one time did this man thank these young men or there families for the 4 years that they spent under his watch.  I thought that was very.  DISRESPECTFUL. People something to really think about

Growman.... i also thought that was odd.

Shawn went to eacher player but the coach did not...

N to state after the game that the Juniors made the difference in this game on senior day was a slap in the face to his seniors while several of them were sitting on the bench.

Not a nice thing to say. May be he already talked to them in a more intimate setting with friends and family. Can’t pass judgement like that without know every detail.

Ibosbu....

It was not meant to be rude or mean...

When you are in the public eye at a game on the field  n w family who supported program
N your director takes time w each player  but the coach doesn't walk the line.....

It doesn't look good to public n fans at the stadium or w the parents.....

Should if went down the line n gave the time in front of the fans n parents....

I have to say I was surprised by the ceremony that was done for the seniors on Saturday.  In past years each player, with his family, was announced as they walked onto the field where they were greeted by the AD and Coach P, congratulated & thanked by Coach P, and a formal picture was taken.  It was odd that Coach P (or any assistant for that matter) was not at all involved this year.
