I have been following Long Island Football for over 40 years. The top players ) in that time frame have gone to such schools as Penn State, Syracuse, Rutgers, Etc. and the second tier players always went to the CAA type schools. When Hofstra gave up football it gave Stony Brook a great opportunity to be in the mix for the second tier players and they have done a great job getting that talent in, however a lot of Long Island kids want to leave no matter what the offer is. For the 2015 class I know of 3 players from Long Island that are definitely coming and they are; Isaiah White Longwood, Anthony Santorelli Mepham Long Snapper and David Reiter Syosset TE/DE. There will be others from California, Connecticut, New York City, Etc. and this class will be a very solid class. Also remember that Stony Brook's 2014 group was very strong and most of them redshirted. I have my own website liblitz.com and my email is info@liblitz.com
