And also could we stop saying that these athletes stink. They are div 1 athletes. You may not like the results but bashing athletes like that is juvenile. If you have played football at the high school or college level you would know that these kids deserve credit for putting their bodies on the line everyday of the season. Call for change all u want but stop bashing student athletes who aren't gonna be pros. These kids sacrifice a lot and some of them are paying their own way .
Again Chrissy. You try  to constantly correct me on my comments.  I am mot blaming our athletics.  They are not the problem.  I am actually very glad some of these kids get full scholarship from SB. You know where I stand with who is to he blamed for dismal seasons year after year..

Please Chrissy. thats weak. You need to go in your safe zone if you think that was attacking an athlete.

I'm perfectly calm. Your the one who seems to lose sleep over this. I bet to think if u met me u wouldn't be telling me to relax. Typical poster or radio show caller, ever time time someone disputes what u say you have to try and prove them wrong as if evrtthing you say is always correct. Its 1aa football it shouldn't ruin your day.

A 5-6 finish, 4-4 in the Conference.  SB is 14-18 in the CAA since joining the Conference.  Four mediocre seasons.  The last good SB football team was the 2012 team.

Typical Stony Brook game – good defense, no real offense. I totally understand these are really young athletes playing QB, but with just an average QB performance we could be in the playoffs.  3 touchdowns to 17 interceptions is seriously unheard of in D1 football. I’m amazed they even finished 5-6 with that type of QB play.

Dissapointing stretch to end the season.
4 weeks ago we felt as though a playoff spot was a real possibility. With each passing game I think reality kicked in a little more. To end with a losing record is a hard result to find too many positives about.
We could be pleased with a defense which once again should be in the top half of the conference. Unfortunately our offensive struggles made it nearly impossible to compete with the more difficult back end of the conference schedule. I guess it is obvious things need to change.

The program needs new leadership on the offensive side; this has been a  trend for 3 years.  In any game you have a game plan & then you have adjustments & they have done a poor job of doing this.

Every program has it's weaknesses; you adjust & use your strengths with the players you have & this did not happen.

The stats don't lie....
