everyone please relax... we are all SB fans, and we all want the program to win, and i think you have to approach this board understanding that we might not all agree on everything.

on to rutgers.  because of "regional" similarities, they struggle with a lot of the same issues we do.  student disaffection, culture, their upbringing with/out the sport, distractions, academic burdens, etc.

in this vein, we then have a very similar atmosphere to schools like: st johns, fairfield, hofstra, sacred heart, columbia, monmouth, montclair state, etc whether we like it or not.  sure they arent our peers from an academic, student body, athletics, or research perspective.  but we face the same "regional" issues.

winning brings fans yes but can anyone here recall some winning seasons where we failed to break 40k attendance?

what am i saying is- winning is only part of the equation.  its much harder to get 10k fans to LaValle when there isnt anyone on campus.  keep them on, and its a bit easier, though still challenging.

how to fix? http://sbufan.createaforum.com/around-stony-brook/making-sb-better-idea-thread/
There are 29,413,039 corporations in America; but only one Chairman of the Board.
