nice showing.  the obvious is that its hard to tell against SHU's defense but i thought carbone improved, especially on those 5 and 7 yard slants.  and there were some dropped passes i think.

big shout out for the OL.  nice running game today, lots of big plays.  liotine jr is a nice changeup from bedell and gowins.  even the KR/PR was strong, giving us field position inside the SHU 50.

the play calling during fields' 4Q drives was very... vince young-ish.  pistol snaps with a delayed inside handoff to isolate the DE.  he made some nice runs and opened up others.  i didnt see him throw, but otherwise looked athletic/fast.

on to the negative.  there were a lot of fumbles today.  maybe they dont show up in the stats, but i counted at least 4-5.

South Fla blew up illinois; solid.
JMU put up 75 on norfolk.  UA has their hands full with monmouth.
There are 29,413,039 corporations in America; but only one Chairman of the Board.

We looked very good today. Well prepared and ready.  Carbone looks confident all of a sudden .  The run game really confuses defenses  with the amount of backs we can use.  Just an FYI Fields  will be a great one. He is so athletic and poised .

What a rout!! It felt great to be back @ the Brook on a pleasant September day. Perfect for football...

LaValle Expansion makes the Stadium look like an actual stadium. We are growing. I like it. Campus looks great with the newly finished East Side Dining.

and to top it off. Home opener 45-7!!! Goooo Seawolves!

I'll be at the game next week- can't wait to watch this team which looks much improved.

Kudos to Carbone for cleaning up his game considerably. Hoping for a great game next week- it will be my first game in more than a year

Nice all around win by the men. Really liked how the DB's swarmed all over the place and making some nice hits. D Peart played well.  Coach Thompson deserves a big shout out for the work he does on the punt blocks. Carbone had sone nice passes and the RB's were solid with some nice blocks from the OL.

Carbone got offensive player of the game.. Who would have ever thought that would happen this year. Congrats!!!

Hell just might be freezing over LOL

But I'm really glad he's improving. He doesn't have to be a star for us, but if he can just be careful with the ball, this team can go places. We've seen some great things through the first three games now.
