We’ve always brought in really good talent however they didn’t develop that talent especially walk ons we had a lot of good ones but they were only used as a last resort. I guarantee you all these HS kids that Cosh is bringing in would not get a look if Coach P was still here. He told someone last year if he had a choice between a HS kid or a Portal kid he would more than likely take the Portal Player.

It’s hard to judge Cosh philosophy compared to Priore when it comes to recruiting so we’ll have to wait a couple of years to see how these players develop. I will say this for the short time this staff has been together they’ve done a great job recruiting. By the way there are still more to come

I will find out and get back to you. What I know right now is so far we’ve given out 10 scholarships and 6 PWO’s I will get you the names

Cosh really seems to get it- Stony Brook feels much more like a legit college football program already. Just hearing him talk about the recruiting process was a breath of fresh air.

Malachi really seems to be able to sling it- that kid has a cannon for an arm. I imagine he will redshirt this year but he looks like he has a ton of potential.

The Cosh era is night and day. Besides the impressive recruiting and communications already, you can really see the energy in the players faces. This is really exciting.

As far as I could tell thats the highest in the conference. Other Notables: 155-Deleware, 159-Monmouth, 160-Hampton, 163-UNH. Good start for Cosh!

If anyone is interested I’ve posted on my website www.liblitz.com where the Class of 2024 NYS HS Football Players are going to College and for what Sport they will be playing. This list will be updated until 09/01/2024. Also some 2025 players have given verbals and they too are included in my file. So go to my website and then click on commitments
