No. 24 Stony Brook @ Delaware -
« on: October 17, 2016, 06:07:11 pm »
Back in the day Delaware was a big deal. One of the marquee programs of the CAA for a while and I still have a ton of respect for them. They haven't been as great in the past few years but never take the Blue Hens lightly. Lets go out there and keep the momentum. Go Stony Brook

Delaware has good size on the D line & on the OL; they will be tough to beat & you will need more then a running game to do it.....

Be unpredictable & use new threat on  offence....n the runing game & deep ball will open up.

I hope that SBU comes out with a balance attack & be unpredictable in passing gamel;  use the the RB & TE in the short game & it will open up the deep passing & large running plays.

Delaware going to play the run & pressure the QB In the LB will fill the gaps; go read & shotr t quick passes with the TE on edge or slant will force the LB to back off & open up the running.

Delaware has average big crowds; we better get off fast fast on offence; & they will run & control the clock.

Next week someone should call in & ask the question about why the passing game is so inept.....It has gotten slowly worst each season. I don't even want to hear that lack of talent; there is talent that can catch on this team.

The D is going to half to tackle well to stop this running game; & please lets leave the penalty to UD. This is another one of those statement game  & coaches got them fired up.

I predict 20-17....

UD is a really nice school; i wish the former coach the best.

Its very simple. We dont have a QB who can throw.

Why do they not use the 2 TE that can catch & FB out of the slot for the short passing game... It would force the LB to set back in coverage and open up the long run & deep ball.

in years past, my son complained that SB had this huge playbook for offensive plays.  but in the actual games, they reduced it down to about 10-15 plays that they would run.  so that observation is consistent with what I have heard also.  many, many plays were just never run in games, only in practice .

The biggest strength an offence can have is be unpredictable; we have players in each position to make that happen.  It's up to the coaches to put together that game plan & the player to ex acute it.

You cannot keep coming out with the same basic plays; they will stack the line shut down your WR & force you in to 3rd long.

I still have hope that a light will come on & this will be accomplished; if not this season could turn very quick. We should of blown RI out of the game; the 1st play & play calling was very poor.

I hope they come out aggressive in this game at UD.
