interesting comment from Terrance West today on Bleacher Report about playing college football in the CAA:

West has a lot working in his favor, including talent and very little in the way of competition on the Browns depth chart. Heck, undrafted free-agent back Isaiah Crowell is even in the mix to make an impact as a rookie with the Browns. Crowell was Fischer's No. 1-ranked undrafted free agent.

West is undaunted in his bid for playing time right away, particularly since he is coming from small-school competition, telling the Cleveland Plain Dealer's Tom Reed he doesn't downgrade himself because of the small schools he played against at Towson: "No, it's not a big difference. It's about the same. Football is football ... I feel like I'm getting a good rhythm. I'm getting good feedback from the coaches. So that's what it's all about."

On Maysonet, "Todd Haley was not happy when running back Miguel Maysonet failed to pick up a blitzing Garvin. “You are going to get the quarterback killed. You can't play if you can't protect him,” Haley screamed. Incidentally, Bryant hauled in the pass by Gradkowski

He's with Pittsburgh, BFF.  But, the question is, can he make it past the practice squad?

I watched some of the Giants/Pittsburgh game that I had taped last night.  Maysonet saw some action.  He  didn't seem to get much running room.  But, they threw to him a few times.  He caught two of three passes, I think.  One was for a first down with nice second effort after the catch.  It was great seeing him in action.

I watched it too. I would love to see miguel behind his first string Offense. Give the guy a lane to run through then maybe we can see his true running abilities!!

Bamiro is not going to make the Eagles' 53-man roster. Best he can hope for this season (barring player injuries) is the practice squad.

I'm sure that Coach P told him that there would be no fooling around discipline-wise for this kid.  screw up again, and you are done.  this is a great opportunity for this kid to rebound and be successful.

He knows what he did was wrong and there's no turning back to make it better now. To get booted from a program like Oregon has got to be demoralizing and its something he must live with forever. With that said, this kid is hungry to try and put this behind him as he should. I think he comes out like a firecracker and takes over the defense.  We should see a lot of excitement from him. I cant wait!!!!

I heard that a couple Steeler RBs got busted for pot possession.  will this open up the door for Maysonet? is Maysonet still on the team?
