Carbone who I have stated before is not going pro but on the season 12 td 3 picks and 3 rush Td's. He is doing what needs to be done to win. Team had 2 passing TD's last night ( fields 1). Nothing wrong with ground and pound when you put up 50 and play great def. What I really dont get is the fact that instead of enjoying the wins some on this thread are waiting for the shoe to drop. This is a good team with big games to play. Some of you would be happy with a losing season so the coach would go, thats ridiculous. Here is a point about Priore and the staff. Ty Wheatly Sr. not only played in the NFL but currently coaches on an NFL staff with the Jaguars. Does anybody think that this man with a wealth of football knowledge and contacts would send his son to SB if he thought that Priore and his staff didnt know how to coach.

Totally agree and especially with the last bit about Ty Wheatley. I think wheatley coming to Stony Brook is a very positive indicator of how  Stony Brook and Coach P are perceived in football circles.

And the program is just in really healthy shape. We graduated three seniors (two four year starters in Parris and Garrick) from last years o-line, but they just plugged in the new guys and the o-line is probably better than it has ever been. Same thing goes for the DBs. It was definitely an adjustment period at first in the CAA, but right now, I really think coach P has figured it out. And to be honest, last year I was almost disappointed the team was winning because I wanted coach P gone.
