Interesting tidbit UNH redshirt freshman Dylan Laube Westhampton HS going up against SBU redshirt freshman Ty’Son Lawton Curtis HS both are considered rising stars in the CAA

I think we're favored here, but this will NOT be an easy game. UNH is not the kind of program you can take lightly and a letdown after last week's game is possible. This is an important one.

I say we win, but it'll be a fairly close one.

It’s Columbus Day break. The local crowd is here but all the students have been home for a few days already

This is probably a loss at this point, but this doesn't kill our playoff odds. Towson got rolled by Albany today, so we've still got enough leeway to make it to the 7-5/8-4 record we need to be a playoff team. 8-4 and we're in. 7-5 puts us on the bubble just like last year. If we wind up losing this then our CAA title odds are toast.

is it me or down the stretch- when we really needed to stop the clock- we burned two TOs when the clock was stopped?

Nothing to sugar coat here. This is a terrible conference loss at home.

I usually take Coach P side but not only was the play calling bad but again we took bad penalties and are special teams gave up too many yards. The other thing is we keep losing starters to injuries.
The positives are the 2 RB’s again ran good but I was surprised that Fields didn’t run and instead tried to force the pass
Next week is a bye week so we have time to regroup before we play Villanova

I'll admit, I barely watched this game, but at first glance I wouldn't call this terrible. New Hampshire is a strong program with a history of being good. They were on a 3 game win streak coming into tonight. They ought to be ranked next week.

That said, the reason for this loss is likely typical Coach P ineptitude and trash playcalling from the sound of things.

Fair analysis. But we have to win this game at home.

I only watched pieces of the end, but yeah, The 1st down play with 2:50 left, unh was tackled out of bounds, the ref clearly stopped the clock, and we burned a TO. What was that???
How old a Seawolf am I? I followed them during their Final 4 DIII hoops run in 1977-78 (they were called the Patriots then)

Get used to it.  Coach P calls the shots on Offense. He sucks as a coach and things will never change just as long as SB keeps giving this guy contract extensions.
