This is still a must win game I believe. Lose it and we could easily be out. Win it and we could win a conference title, and maybe, maybe get a playoff seed and first round bye.

I say we run up the score, make statement, and crush the LOLbany puppy dogs. Last year we let them stay in the game with us and take it to OT. This year we should bury them.  They haven't won a single conference game all year and they damn sure won't start now.

56-10 SBU.

Even Albany fans want them to lose this one so they get a new head coach.

just me, but id rather see 10-0 than a score like 52-21.  shut these puppies out.  zero.

they've scored 200 points all year, and the last four games we've held some good offenses to 34 points.  total.

(how about that trio of LBs?  all seniors)

This is almost another must win for us. Drop to 7-4  and the play of picture gets dim , go 8-3  and we are in for sure. Too many good teams out there looking at 24 slots in the ply off picture.

We could be in with a loss, but I really doubt it. Assuming Elon wins, we'd have the weakest resume out of the six CAA teams in contention. Albany is our rival and haven't even won a conference game all year. Hang 40+ on them, bury them like we should, and then move on to the postseason, potentially claiming a conference title in the process. Don't forget that. If we win this weekend and Maine loses, we win a share of the CAA for the first time ever.

I think we are in with a loss anyway

But I don't wanna think of that scenario. That would suck big time.

Rocco mentioned that Delaware put some new running plays in this week and Stony Brook “sniffed them out right from the very beginning.”

He added that “They brought an awful lot of pressure,” which made it difficult.

Albany hasn't been this bad since 2006 so the outcome shouldn't be in doubt.

Nice historical tid bit, but irrelevant to this year's teams. SB wins and wins big. We have too much on the line to not bury them. Coach P should have this team focused and ready to go. Even if this wasn't a rivalry game that would be the case.

I've been watching SBU for awhile now and go to many games. In the past it has been a "tale of two wolves" - which team shows up. Against AF and Towson, that was the case. But since Towson, I have seen a much more focused team that held Delaware to 3 points. Not even NDSU did that!

Our running game is fantastic as the line has played like a full unit. Give Coach P much credit for that.

Our defense is great. 37 is great off the edge, 35 is his usual great player with playmaking ability, and now you have 41 flying all over the place. What a set of LB's! And the secondary has done quite well. 11 looks like an NFL player.

We should crush Albany this week. It's going to be cold and harsh weather. Bury them early and its blowout city. 35-3 prediction.
