I've been hearing that we might drop the Buffalo game to try and get a home game, or even try to get that game at yankee/citi field... and i'm pretty sure Priore is not thrilled about 4 away games to start the season... knowing that man, there will be changes.. ;-)

I would give up one FBS game for one Home game anyday. I hope Priore and fiore are both pounding the tables as i type because we get screwed. The last thing in the world we need right now is a setback because of a conflict in scheduling.

Senior day is a home game for JMU, not SBU's homecoming. First off to start bashing the coach and AD for the upcoming schedule is way off base. Fiore has done everything to pump up SBU the last couple of years ( bidding for the two home playoff gms the last 2 yrs ). Also bidding for the NIT and the NCAA womens tourny 2yrs in a row. Priore deals with recruiting players not setting schedules, the AD handles that. You guys always say that you like to play FBS teams well those are 2 of the road gms to start the season. We are not being punished by playing 2 CAA gms on the road to start the season, that's just the way it worked out. And let's wait until the official schedule comes out before we start crying. It's warm in Oct so homecoming will still be packed, I have been going to homecoming for over 10 yrs and some times it was held in Oct. The chairman is right let's not jump off the ledge, also let's not call out the AD and the coach cause it's starting to sound like one of those radio call in shows.

I would not give up FBS game for one home game with FCS team. I dont like the schedule but its much more exciting than Big South days. I have no complain with Fiore's effort so far. He has done excellent for SBU. I really hope we keep him for another many years and not lose him to bigger budget schools.

I do hope we add one or two FCS home games against NY teams in October when we seem to have lot of opening.

Well...I personally wasn't bashing Priore or Jim Fiore. They are both great for Stony Brook and I wish they stay here forever... my initial reaction was more like surprised that they allowed this to happen. But you have a point: this things are out of the control of coaches, and there is also little flexibility for the AD when the program schedule two FBS games which  99% of the time tend to be away games

I also decided to wait for the official schedule because they are most likely doing their best to change the current situation.

I think we will be fine. Mens hoops played quite a few road games  early on this season and did very well. We are the new kid on the  CAA block  so maybe  we have to pay our dues. Lets see what the officail schedule looks like next month.  And lets keep  BC and Buffalo on the schedule.

Easy Hammer that's what grilling is for. Nothing like grilled meat to keep you warm.
