I dont think its CAA doing.. @BC and @Buffalo are OOC games. But yes, seems like its going to be brutal first month of away games.

Maine must be our 8th and final CAA game, tho its not posted yet.  that leaves a BYE, and two more Non Conf games to fill in the schedule.

This is a terrible schedule. How did Jim Fiore and Priore even allow this. Starting our home season on 9/28. What the f*ck... That's going to be an attendance killer and probably take us a step back. This probably means homecoming will be pushed back to October when its already cold... Not cool at all

I will wait until the official release because I'm sure this is getting worked out still. Its just hard to believe a guy like Jim would allow the program to get fuc*ed over like that. Something needs to be done. we should have atleast one home game by the fourth week...

With that said. If this doesn't changes. Lets get ready to become roadwarriors. @Nova and @Rhody are fairly close from the NY Metro area

like iBOsbu said, there is nothing on Nova's or Rhody's website to indicate this is indeed their schedule for games with SB.  nor can I find anything on Fox Sports Network FCS coverage.  so who knows how accurate this is.   I agree that first home game in Week 5 would really suck.

Ok everyone off the ledge- its not as easy as just picking where you want to play and who and when... specifically when you are jumping into a new conference and you have to be fit into their schedules- multiple, that is.  Im sure Coach and AD didnt want it this way, but its probably what we have to do to get into the CAA.  It will get better.  Remember this is sort of a fire drill, changing over the schedule and fitting into everyone elses.

Its a great test.  Lets make it an opportunity, get out there, and win.  GO SB

Both Albany and SB still have big holes in their schedules for next year, so I think Chairman's comments bear some weight, as to moving into a new conf and the scheduling issues.  however, none of the other CAA teams appear to start their seasons with four straight road games.  a couple teams start their season with three of the first four games on the road, and the rest seem to split the first four games, two at home and two on the road.  SB seems to be the only team that has their first four games on the road

They could have easilly schedule it the same for all teams in the CAA.. Just because we are new to the confrence shouldn't make a difference. SBU got screwed and Fiore should be raising hell !!!

I agree with Chairman here... yes its not fair to start with four away games, but we just have to go and play our best.

Mind you that the OOC games are FBS money games that we scheduled! Each FBS games always brings between $300k-500k to a FCS program. If we wanted, we could have scheduled cupcake games against weak FCS teams.

Good thing is that URI should be an easy game and there are more home games to end the regular season which should help us towards getting to FCS playoffs. I am assuming top three CAA teams, may be even top four, will go to the playoffs

I've been hearing that we might drop the Buffalo game to try and get a home game, or even try to get that game at yankee/citi field... and i'm pretty sure Priore is not thrilled about 4 away games to start the season... knowing that man, there will be changes.. ;-)
