interesting that we seem to have the same CAA foes this year as last, which is sort of good.  we dont play Nova or Richmond.  I was expecting to play them.  I had not heard of that deal where FCS only play 11 game schedule.  are you sure about that?  maybe there is a chance we pick up a game before the Toledo game.

all of the CAA teams played 12 regualr season games this season.  but now looking at the JMU 2015 schedule, they only have 11 games in 2015 also.  maybe it has to do with the late Labor Day weekend in 2015, this gives a late start to the season, and then with playoffs, you have to finish up your season by late Nov to be ready for playoffs.

Just glad there are no Div II games. They don't help with rankings or playoff qualification and could actually hurt by exposing players to injury.

I think BigFatFan is right. It all comes down to how early the season can start (Labor Day Weekend)

I seem to recall that SB was supposed to have a Home and Home series with North Dakota.  I thought they were supposed to travel to SBU in 2015 to fulfill their half of the deal.

never mind, from the archives:  Stony Brook will head to Big Sky Country to face North Dakota on September 20. The Seawolves, who lost to UND, 31-24, in 2009, will host North Dakota in the season opener in 2016.

WOW!! Not that it matters to us but, Towson just landed an ESPN 4 star Quarterback transfer from Miami. He comes to Towson with a ton of legal mess but still a top 87th Q in 2013..  Look at all the SEC schools who offered him scholarships...

Between JMU Lee and now Towson with Olsen the CAA is going to be real tough come next season!!!!!!

Coach P would not be recruiting this kid.

Fox Sports' Bruce Feldman reports that former Miami redshirt freshman QB Kevin Olsen has transferred to Towson.
The former four-star recruit had previously been suspended for a failed drug test and was suspended by the Hurricanes for a third time. Olsen was charged with a DUI and having a fake or stolen driver's license. Last year there were reports that surfaced that head coach Al Golden was not pleased with Olsen's development.

Taking a guy with such a questionable character is exactly the way a program can get burned. They can take all the wins the want on the field I'm glad SBU is not recruiting a guy like that.

I know Coach P has give a second chance to some guys like Coker, etc but these guy seems far more problematic than that

I had some free time and spent it updating the SB football wiki page.

I think ecasadoSBU usually updates it.

Added few more sections and tables (1-Conference Championships table, 2-Playoffs section and table and 3-Future non-conference opponents table);
Added the Red and Grey colors in the table headers;
Updated the future non-conference opponents with links;
Added the "Rivalries" section and added Albany and linked to the Empire Clash wiki page.

Good job man. Yeah, I extensively edited most of the SBU related articles but now I find myself with so little time that I can't even dedicate times to the things I love like free writing and researching.

Its good to see other people picking up.

Lets go Seawolves!!
