I suppose. Trying to get everybody together on a work week for a tailgate is going to be tough.

That's true...I am actually excited for it...beats possibly roasting in the sun in August, and, as much as I like going to SB football games, it keeps Labor Day Weekend free

looks like Aug 28th game will be on the first week of school, great news, should have lots of students on campus for a thursday night game, since Friday is a day of classes before the Labor Day holiday.

That Thursday game is going to be a great opportunity for student to pregame tailgate and after the game his ladies night at the bench or one of the millions of opening week parties. LOVE it

I took a ride today to the SB arena for one more last look at my seat selection and ran into a Football insider and we were talking about OFC scheduling.  After this season, Stony Brook will no longer be scheduling div2 teams to play.  I thought I would pass it along to you guys.. That is good for rankings going forward. .

Hammer, i think you are referring to Game 3 against American International Univ.  they are indeed D2, but they have a decent program.  finished 9-3 last year, 8-1 in their conference and made the NCAA D2 tourney.  they got bounced in the first round.  The game may be well placed in our schedule, its right after the UCONN game and the is the week ahead of our long road trip to North Dakota.  anyway...yes, it will be nice to focus on D1 schools from here on out.  tho I doubt Coach P will schedule two FBS opponents in one season, do you?   thanks for getting that great info tho.
