Yep a bad year for us soccer-wise with our HC taking a leave of absence & the interim not installing strong D. Fired him and hiring anew, a dire need since we had been top 25 & play in a league with Akron and WVU.

We play UA and BU on occassion, but never in MBB. Our AD really avoids AE and NEC contests for RPI purposes which is too bad.

It is great playing pay games to SBU for the reasons stated. Plus, we get  better crowds for SBU, Colgate, and Lehigh, than we have for FCS programs from farther locales. I'd expect UAlbany to give us a call too now that they will be full-scholly. They love facing SBU the Evil Empire, so having a shot at the hot-shot THE State U of NY, makes them salivate.

Grata to you for the CAA and scheduling. No FCs fan can ever knock you for NEC/Big South ties now. It's not easy but worth it. UB was an Indy program playing YSU, Ill St, UConn, UMass, Maine, & Hofstra most seasons, and had a rough go of it. But the crowds and excitement for those teams were totally worth it.
