I can see us winning  4 CAA games this year in close ones.  There are no easy teams around this  season so 4-4 in CAA with two non conference wins gives us 6-5 for 2018.   The CAA teams we should beat are  Richmond, Albany , Towson and UNH since there starting QB is out injured and may not return .  The other 4 games we will be in but not being able to pull a win . Don't be surprised if Villanova or Maine  knocks off JMU also . The Wildcats and the Black Bears are very good this year.

You know, I'd kinda be ok with a season like that. 6-5 was my expectation this year, so if that's where we wind up I wouldn't be all that upset. Whether or not that's enough to retain Coach P is another story. If we can't win at least one of those big games against an elite team, I'd like to see us go in another direction if we can identify a suitable candidate. I'm not taking the Richmond or New Hampshire games for granted either.

I think Fordham will set the tone for the rest of the season. If SB pulls off an impressive game on the road and wins big, then there is a chance they go 7-4 and make the playoffs.

I just dont see them beating Delaware, Rhode Island, Villanova, or even Towson this year.  But who knows. Anything can happen in this league. Either way, I see coach P getting a one-year contract extension regardless if they make the playoff or not.
