Good stuff, but based on having to play #1 JMU in 2nd round (assuming a victory over Lehigh), we effectively received the #16 seed, below each of the above final rankings. The same logic implies that Lehigh received the #17 seed. Both seem quite flawed, but it is what it is.

I could be wrong, but my understanding is that the only true seeds that matter are the 1-8...meaning presuming all of the actually seeded teams win their first matchup, they are playing the appropriate team in the third week of playoffs (i.e. #1 JMU plays #8 Southern Utah)...the unseeded teams playing this weekend are based primarily on geography and intriguing matchups for next week (i.e. SBU potentially playing JMU, a league matchup that may draw more attention then were we to play Central Arkansas or Wofford).
Just as we are complaining that we got screwed by lining up to play JMU should we advance...think of JMU's gripe...they are #1 overall and may have to play the 10th team in the country, from the CAA in their first game...doesn't seem fair to them either
