LEHIGH MOUNTAIN HAWKS
Coach: Andy Coen (12th season)
Record: 5-6, 5-1 Patriot League
Bid: Automatic
Three Key Wins: at Colgate (41-38), at Bucknell (42-21), Lafayette (38-31)
Hurtful Loss: at Wagner (37-20)
First Playoff Game: at Stony Brook, Nov. 25
What to Know: The Mountain Hawks, who started their season with five straight losses, are the second team to qualify for the playoffs with a losing record (Lafayette also was 5-6 in 2013). But FCS scoring leader Dom Bragalone (21 touchdowns) helps fuel a high-powered offense.

Info from STATS website. They lost to Wagner 37-20  :o

just to repeat something that's probably already known- from newsday:

Carbone has completed 59 percent of his passes for 1,995 yards, 20 touchdowns and three interceptions and the Seawolves have averaged 28.0 points per game.

well done.  should be the MIP.  let's build on that for next year and improve even more.   ;D

thanks iBO!!!

here's what i found:

Interesting twist is SB head coach Chuck Priore is older Brother of Penn head coach Ray Priore. Penn put 65 on Lehigh. Think he’ll share notes with his older bro?

I always look at his stat lines after games and am always pleasantly surprised at how accurate he is with his passes. Also with the number of attempts from time to time. Checking the box score from Saturday's game, he attempted more passes than it felt like he did. Granted many of the passes were incomplete as I believe he had his worst game of the season on Saturday so there's that explanation there, but he really took a big step forward from last year to this year. Very impressive.

Reading what they say about their own rush defense, we should have a field day on the ground. Bedell and Bolden can rest, Liontine and Gowins should have 100+ a piece if we play up to our potential.

Lehigh travels well. I think the game will be well attended for late November, but we need the Stony Brook fans to show up and, most importantly, get loud. Every home game I feel like I'm the only one yelling on third downs. Lets make some NOISE people!

I find myself looking at travel times to Harrisonburg, Virginia but I had stopped. I hope i'm not jixing this upcoming game.

I'm less than two hours away from Harrisonburg, so I'll be there for sure. I'm already wondering how they'll do the tickets. Will JMU offer our athletic department some tickets to buy? Or should I just buy tickets right now on my own? I have a ton of friends to went to JMU, so that one will be fun.

I'm tempted to channel my inner Nick Saban towards any players who might be reading this and call any planning ahead to the JMU game "rat poison." As far as jinxing the team, I don't want our guys not to focus, but this is a 5-6 team who is far and away the weakest team in the whole field and is god awful against the run. If we don't bury them, something is seriously wrong.

This might be the one game all year where Coach P's signature run up the middle every play gameplan will actually work. It should be like the old Big South days where we just run all over everyone. They lost to Wagner by 17. The same Wagner we beat by four touchdowns.

Ive seen lehighs offense they are really good ! Villanova  beat them in the last min . They have two really good receivers, a good qb and and excellent running back I would not take them so lightly

Lehigh is really much better then you think !
There offense is really good ! I think your selling them short !
The patriot league does not have the depth of the caa but their front line starters are very good players . Remember Colgate beat both unh and james Madison two years ago this lehigh team is peaking at the right time

Just as an FYI, Lehigh has TWO FCS "offensive player of the year" folks being considered (we have none on either side of the ball).
