Hello all,

I'm new here but wanted to introduce myself. My name is Dan Steenkamer and I'm glad to be serving as the "Campus Correspondent" Delaware beat writer for HERO Sports FCS. I'm actually a student journalist, so this season has been a really nice opportunity to get hands-on sportswriting experience.

Anyways, I share all this because I thought I'd contribute this link to the thread: https://herosports.com/fcs/football-2019-delaware-seeking-turnaround-stony-brook-scsc. The link takes you right to my Stony Brook/Delaware preview for this week on HEROSports.com (no subscription is necessary to view any HERO Sports FCS coverage). I invite you all to take a look and let me know if I missed anything about the Seawolves! I do my best to study each opponent and its statistics as closely as possible, but no one knows any given team better than that school's fans!

The article may also provide some insight for those who haven't been tracking Delaware all season long.  ;)

Enjoy and have a happy rest of your FCS season,

Dan

Nice article. Quite honestly, I believe SB will just lay down and concede in this game. I dont want to be the only fan to speak the truth around these boards, however. I feel as if SB players have given up and will take this season in stride.

Our defense is not the defense of the past. As you alluded to in your article, we are giving up 'phone book" numbers of yards each game. Our O line, as big as they may appear is just not making holes for our RB to go through. Again, something that is unorthodox of SB ball. our go-to WR is Andersen, he is our only shining light this year and he is good, very good but we need to have others step up to the plate.

Bottom line. Delaware wins by two scores on Saturday.
