I would get McKee some reps- he can still play in a few games and still maintain his redshirt. However we know Priore is too stubborn to change his approach to the game either mid game or mid season. The other three QBs just don’t have it. Priore has just not been able to develop a capable FCS QB in years.

Agreed. I think he can play up to 4 games. Not a 100% certain though. However Jack P won’t do that. I hope this team goes winless.

A player can dress for a total of up to 4 games before they lose the ability to make that year a redshirt season. McKee could play next week if Chuck chose to dress him, but he very rarely lets true freshman travel, let alone dress for a game. It does happen though.

Thank you. I thought so too

Getting a real treat today, getting to watch a game that isn’t on FloSports. The shuffling of QB’s really bit them in the ass, with that horrible INT.  The half-assed onside after the FG, was despicable. Same old, same old.
How old a Seawolf am I? I followed them during their Final 4 DIII hoops run in 1977-78 (they were called the Patriots then)

Can someone tell me if In fact SH gave P that contract extension or not? I am asking because something is not right with the announcer talking P up all game. I think I heard his name mentioned every minute. Way more than umass coach. Maybe P has something else in the works with another school?? Take notice how often P is talked about in a very positive way. I watch a ton of college football and this is Not normal. Unless there’s something going on behind close doors

Absolutely agree- there are dozens of decent QBs buried on depth charts across the country. If Priore decided to not pursue a transfer due to confidence in this group, that’s a huge indictment of him. We are the one FCS program that really hasn’t gotten to that well for some reason that is incomprehensible to me.

I don't know if Bryden is it, but I do know that Zamot is not.

Probably the only game I’ll watch this year, since the team is terrible, and o refuse to pay for FloSports. My observances: this team has a Major QB issue, the team is undisciplined (too many key penalties), and the time mgmt is just pathetic; down 3 scores and using entire play clock and continuing to run ball,  I like cook and lawton, but it’s not enough. This was a winnable game, and they got crushed.

Priore was a running back as a player and his view of the game is so ground-based that he can’t or won’t adapt. Same old same old.

100% agree. You can't expect to win playing ground-and-pound football in 2022. Much like Ford's "DIY and three" offense, SB has to have the most un-dynamic FB and MBB head coaches at the DI level

This entire school needs to be burnt to the ground. Holy hell I'm so embarrassed.

If Priore makes any post game comment it will be something like “It’s always tough to win playing an FBS team at their place.” Better if he says nothing.

I actually thought Bryden played all right, particularly in his first career start. He had the brutal pick six, the other brutal interception and some missed throws, but there's something there. I think.

I'm glad Priore made the move to him. Zamot being out there just screams run, and if he throws, the defense is more than happy with that. Reminds me of high school ball.

If Priore gets extended it’s a sign this program is OK with mediocrity. We got smoked by arguably the worst FBS programs in the nation.

Another great start to the season for SB. They’ll win some meaningless games late in the year and Heilbron will put out some meaningless quote about how excited he is for the future…

I'm going to keep supporting the program just out of love for the university and the program... but no doubt this is tough to watch every damn week.

I'm in the camp the Coach P really needs to get fired ASAP. We are regressing every year now. I had enough

One of the worst FBS programs is an understatement. UMass is THE worst FBS program. Them beating us tonight is technically an upset according to the Sagarin ratings. That's how bad Umass was.

And we lost to them by 17. Don't fall for the "they're an FBS program" excuse/cover. This is an embarrassing loss for the program. Coach P ain't it. I've unfollowed all of Stony Brook Football's social media accounts and am done with this program. Won't be spending a cent on Flo either as it's not worth paying that exorbitant bill for a crappy stream to watch an even crappier team. This was the only game I'll see of us all year and it was pathetic.

Coach P gotta go.
