Nothing positive to say about Charlie McKee, and putting him in the game in the 2nd half was just a hunch, LMFAO. This guy is a clown and SH is the ring leader..

I've said this before but SB is the perfect landing spot for coaches like Ford and Priore. A mostly disinterested fan base that is happy with the occasional win and moral victory. Coach P can pretty much say whatever he wants knowing no one is really listening.

That said, if McKee is not getting starter's reps and starting the next three games, Priore will owe the program a very big explanation.

Remember when measly Patriot League schools like Fordham were automatic Ws for Stony Brook?

There is no one in charge of anything at Stony Brook who I trust right now. They're all complacent with mediocrity. I'm glad that there is beginning to be more social media pressure, but even then it's not enough. Why are more people not visibly enraged?

To be fair,  Holy Cross (Patriot League) is ranked above EVERY CAA team right now and Fordham has a significant aerial attack.

Let’s just be grateful it’s Fordham  we’re facing and not Holy Cross.

We’ve got a shot Saturday.

The dozen or so of us on this forum are the only people who give a damn. That's why.

Some of you have to get a realistic view of the depths to which this program has sunk. I am a PL alum and a SBU fan, and the comments here are laughable...suggesting SBU could be the toughest D DeMorat has seen this year, remembering when "lowly" PL teams were automatic wins. Holy Cross is 7 in the country, has beaten an FBS team (and a solid one at that as Buffalo is atop their division in their conference and their only other 2 losses are to a Big10 School and a school just out of top 25, and they have in conference wins over teams that have beaten power conference teams). Fordham has an explosive offense that is putting up eye popping numbers and the only reason they do not own a win over an FBS team (and an undefeated record) is that their defense is prone to allow other teams to put up eye popping numbers as well. Fortunate for them, I am not sure Stony Brook is in a position to do that, regardless of the competition. Oh yeah, Fordham has also beaten 2 other teams from the vaunted CAA this year. Don't get me wrong, I love SBU and want them to succeed, but some people here seem to have an inflated sense of the strength of this program. The lone bright spot this year (hopefully) will be the development of McKee...I think he's for real, and from a personal standpoint, he has a good matchup for his first start, maybe against Fordham he can put up some confidence building numbers...but if the margin of Fordham's victory is less than 2 TD's, I'd be shocked.

That’s a fact. So why is coach P one of the highest paid FCS coaches in this league? He sucks and shouldn’t even be a D1 coach at any level.

Disappointing that I have to subscribe to ESPN+ in order to watch the game...in this case it really is the principle...I dont feel like shelling out another 10 bucks, or whatever it is, to watch a Stony Brook football game. (I am out of the SNY market)

McKee has made some good deep throws but #11 has dropped multiple

I had no idea that SNY is airing the game on tv but I’m watching. So far, not impressed. I’m gonna watch a little just to see what McKee is about.

Not watching but hopefully the injury(s) today are nothing serious...this one feels all but over going into the half

If #11 is our leading receiver, he has 3 drops already today. McKee doesn't look as sharp as he did last week but his "weapons" aren't doing him any favors.

We’re watching a good (top 20) FCS team with a great veteran (5th year) quarterback simply demolishing a bad team with a novice quarterback.

Tough to watch.

Priore needs to get f*cked for that final first half drive. Yankees are on now, so screw this. You get the ball back with 91 seconds and you just run it to kill the clock. You're not even going to try and let your QB of the future air one out, and he has the arm. You're just going to run it up the middle the whole drive. You're just going to surrender. What message does that send other than "I'm giving up and I'm going to take the ball out of my QB's hands." Absolute pathetic horsesh*t. Chuck Priore is a goddamn embarrassment to the entire Stony Brook brand. What a loser.

Leave McKee out there and let him learn. Once his redshirt runs out let Bryden show if he has progressed any. The team won't be relevant in the CAA until there is new leadership anyway.
