2022 Season - 10/15 - Game 6 @ Fordham - 6:00PM - TV: ESPN+

Seawolves visit the Bronx for a clash against the RAMS...

These is one of those games that at this point in the Seawolves FB trajectory (large public school, with way more resources, and in the CAA) you would think it would be a guaranteed victory on any given year. It surely felt that away a few years ago. But with the regression and what happened last year against the Rams I wont bet on it.

Hope we McKee at the helm. We need a win please.

This is a lost season. At this point best outcome would be for us to go winless 0-11. This would hopefully force the administration into some decision making. Forgot the exact quote.. some thing like burn to the ground before rise from the ashes.

there's so many variables here at play there's no telling what could happen.  do we have RBs?  who plays QB?  do they change out?  weather changing.  local rival, beat us last year, but we should be better, but we stink this year, but looked good in the 2nd half against #1 UNH.  beats me. GO SB

I agree, plus Fordham is good this year. They only have one loss and that was a close one to FBS Ohio. Mckee gives us a chance, but at this point, what do wins get us? Theyd' just give Heilbron another excuse to extend coach P.

0-11 really would be best for this program long term. Though we have some pretty bad teams on the schedule the remainder of the year so we probably finish 3-8 or something like that.

Fordham's offense is absolutely firing on all cylinders this year, with an average of 49 points scored per game. Their defense, on the other hand, is complete trash, giving up over 42 points per game. Tim DeMorat has passed for 30 TD's this year, thrown only 4 INT's and been sacked eight times. To put DeMorat's passing TDs into perspective, Stony Brook has only 62 completed passes on the season. If he played for the Seawolves, it would mean almost 1 in every 2 of his passes went for a TD. He has 159 completions on the year for a 67% rate through six games. He's going to rip apart Stony Brook, and there's nothing to stop it. But the Seawolves will have a chance to put some points on the board for the first time all season.

Demorat is having a phenomenal year. Fordham's offense is legit.

Looking forward to seeing McKee get the start and a full week of practice. It will be tough to win this game. The goal for the rest of this year will be developing our QB.

I feel for the kids but if a couple more losses will get the school to finally move on from Priore, it will be worth it for the long term health of this program.

Going out on a limb here and suggesting we can pressure DeMorat in a way most of his opponents this year couldn’t.  (It is a given that if he has time he’ll absolutely pick us apart and throw for 450…he’s a smart passer with a very strong arm and fine receivers …)
If we can hold Fordham  to under  30 we can win this.

A lot depends on if coach P starts Charlie McKee or not.

The only way McKee should not be starting is if Mahomes decided to enroll at SB with his year of remaining eligibility.

The more money a family donates to SBU the more starts you get. Pay for play. Like Carbone.

Nothing positive to say about Charlie McKee, and putting him in the game in the 2nd half was just a hunch, LMFAO. This guy is a clown and SH is the ring leader..

I've said this before but SB is the perfect landing spot for coaches like Ford and Priore. A mostly disinterested fan base that is happy with the occasional win and moral victory. Coach P can pretty much say whatever he wants knowing no one is really listening.

That said, if McKee is not getting starter's reps and starting the next three games, Priore will owe the program a very big explanation.

“Priore will own the program a big explanation “… You think so? I get the impression P is untouchable and nobody will do anything regardless of his wins or loss.

Trust me. I did work for the Hospital and talked to many higher ups. SB Hospital and SBU are living on their own  planet, and can do what they want. Nobody touches them or tells them no. Coach P is in fact, part the the NYS swamp and won’t be removed by Heilbron or by the President.

I have every reason to believe P is here until he announces his retirement.

Remember when measly Patriot League schools like Fordham were automatic Ws for Stony Brook?

There is no one in charge of anything at Stony Brook who I trust right now. They're all complacent with mediocrity. I'm glad that there is beginning to be more social media pressure, but even then it's not enough. Why are more people not visibly enraged?
