Coach P just burned another timeout with a bad challenge.

This game ended as expected. Sloppy play calling. Players looked unprepared. Low level skilled players. Out coached and out played is the norm the last 5 years or so. Another black eye to this program.

At times that was super ugly. Some promising moments, but not many. Ty-Son Lawton didn't play due to injury, the least shocking thing ever, he's the most injury-prone player ever, and he's a piece of **** personality-wise. Chuck made some bonehead calls, especially that challenge on the onside kick. OLine needs help, badly. Special teams need to settle in, Angelo has a powerful leg, just needs time to get back into it. Shocked Seba Nekhet didn't take any snaps, only on special teams.

I would not be surprised if Stony Brook abandons their football program when coach P contract is up. like Hofstra did. SBU does not have the revenues to hire a better, more expensive coaching staff. They can only embarrass themselves for so long before throwing the towel in.  They should just cut the cord and let football go.

I'm sure you're jokingly saying that but Hofstra did it so they could fund their medical school (not the only reason but a big one), and boy has that worked wonders for them. Hofstra has partnered with Northwell Health and their med students are at Northwell hospitals across the Island, a great experience for them. Great partnership.

Well then. Stony Brook should consider that as well. Do you realize how many fans have stopped following this team? A lot. I would not be shocked if less then a 1000 fans purchase tickets next season, fall season. Once Stony Brook starts bleeding red, in the athletics dept, game over. **** the lights.

Oh I feel the same as you do. It's bad, really bad. Meanwhile, I'd kill to be in that (Zoom?) press conference. It's just Ethan Tam I believe, and he's a **** who doesn't attack the athletic department. He'll do whatever they say just to get access, so watch out for the Statesman piece, which won't come out for like two days, to barely challenge Chuck or the team on today's performance.

Coach P is a dinosaur in this program and has a ton of political pull. If he really cared about the direction of this program, then he would come to common grounds with the University and not extend his tenure at SB. But no, that wont happen. His contract will be renewed when it expires in a couple of years, and he will continue to bleed the system.  Just the NYS state of mind mentality..

I can't believe their playing this spring. wasted$ and nothing good can come out of it. I would not be surprised to see a couple of the better players leave before the fall and look for better opportunities. It doesnt look like we have a goto widereceiver. Why stay here and get beat up. Did you see the snow still piled up in the stands? They knew it would be on tv or whatever that was which was really bad to watch. I guess they dont even have money to move the snow?

They cant raise money at SB. They are so bad at it they dont even talk about it anymore. SH had a hundred million goal in five years.  Theyve lost season ticket holders every year since he has beeen here.  Football is expensive to play. Most people on Long Island don't even know there is a team i bet.

There is more excitement about LIUFootball now that their in the FCS. They will compete with SB for players and fans. SH and SB probably doesnt see it that way.
