Jesus Christ... WTF????

I mean, good for him that he's able to make it to a top-10 ranked FBS team... and we develop linemen rather well... but damn, that's a low blow. I'm sick of this BS happening in all sports.

Transfers happen all the time. Every kid wants to play football in the FBS and be a starter. Even NDSU will lose good players to Transfers. The problem SB has is. They dont have that "next man up" mentality. They dont have backups that can be starters, so this is going to hurt SB offensive line. SB Offensive line wasn't as good as you think they are the last 2 years. I watched every game they played and they couldn't give our RB a lane to run through and the D line would sometimes push SB offensive line backward.

NDSU also brings in FBS transfers. The program is not too fond of bringing in tons of transfers, as they like to build a player up through their system, but when they do bring in a transfer, it pays big dividends. They find no name, or not well-known players in their own backyard and build them into All-American players. I want to say half their roster hails from either Minnesota or North Dakota, which makes sense. But they all help push the program forward. And sometimes, they get the siblings of current/former players. Jabril Cox, who won 3 titles and transferred to LSU, his brother Jasir is on the team. Trey Lance's brother signed there this past ESD. I don't know how they started it, but however they did, SBU needs to copy their model because it's clearly working. Past two HC's now coach FBS, No. 2 overall draft pick, Lance is about to go in the top-15, Dillon Radunz is projected as a late first/second-round pick (his brother Nick is also on the team). It's working, and they are the definition of the next man up.

Everything you just said is correct about NDSU, I have been following them very closely since Brock Jensen's days. I think SB cant ever bring in coaches that have the skill set to bring in good players and turn them into great players, the way NDSU does. NDSU O line coach is leaving to work with his old coach at Wyoming. It will be the next man up and they will continue their dynasty to be the top team in the FCS. I strongly believe things will never change with SB, unless Priore leaves. And that ain't happening.

Have yo seen what is going on with JSU lately. Deon Sanders is their HC and he is recruiting 4-star players out of high schools weekly. And bringing big-name transfers from Florida. Most of his coaching staff are former NFL players too. I just hope these coaches have what it takes to turn that team into a power house, like NDSU. That would be cool to see.

I've been following it very closely since his hiring, and have talked with other FCS insiders. We're all watching closely. Unfortunately, the JSU Athletics department is screwing itself over.  They've started to publicly and privately attack journalists who say one bad word or even ask questions that might be construed as negative. The biggest site covering HBCU athletics was blocked by JSU after publishing this piece (https://hbcusports.com/2020/12/24/dont-let-deion-sanders-shooting-his-shot-gas-you-up/). You'd never see that at NDSU. I know someone who once wrote something "bad" about NDSU's play and the following week, the head coach talked to him one on one after the post-game press conference to address any and all issues he had with the program. Gave him all the time he wanted, off the record of course, but he wanted to answer the questions being asked. You don't see that at other programs. NDSU is just built differently.

I think it is all BS. Let Sanders bloviate about his newfound passion and allow him to blow smoke up every media a$$. He is going to let the nation know that he is going to do something terrific for JSU, and he wants everybody to know this. It clearly is working for recruiting. Now, he just knows needs to put it all on the 50-yard line and win games. There is no way in Hell that NCAA will ever have any Bowl games because of him. The NCAA is evil in my eyes anyway. The shunting of the FCS is getting old and needs to change.

JSU can't play it the FCS playoffs due to conference rules. That's going to be the biggest disappointment from all the new fan fare.

Wait. Are you saying about conference rules??

SWAC and MEAC play in the celebration bowl, no FCS playoffs for them. An exception was made for the upcoming Spring season.https://theundefeated.com/features/an-hbcu-bowl-game-wins-out-over-ncaa-playoffs/

OH, yes. Thanks..
