There were 8 players on campus this weekend they were players who already committed or players they are after and from what I heard it went well. Next weekend there will probably be another 8 players or so. According to people I know it really went well this weekend.

From what I've seen, Greene has gotten the following offers in addition to SBU:

Sacred Heart, Merrimack, Delaware St., Morehead St., Albany, Robert Morris, Maine, Army, Wagner, Air Force and UNH

What SBU likes about Greene is that he’s a run stopper similar to Kamara

I'm curious as to why SB didn't offer a scholarship to QB, Plainedge, Dan Villari..

The QB from Plainedge is a great athlete who projects better as a HB/LB and quite frankly Gutieri projected as the best prospect at the QB position that SBU had at their camps. The other important thing was that Villari didn’t come to any of their camps

Looks like we got one and lost one:

WR Deion Davis entered the transfer portal and we got a commitment from DB Nick Chimienti (looks like a solid get to me).

We have another stud coming from Nassau County but it won’t happen officially until after the first of the year

The Chinienti kid is one of the better players coming out of Pennsylvania while Davis was a malcontent so this was a big pickup for SBU

With signing day this Wednesday there are now 9 HS players committed and possibly 3 more. In addition 1 transfer from an FBS Program should be coming in. There will be 3 other transfers visiting after the holidays

As far as the players who have left which totals 10; 6 were walk-ons who were never getting a scholarship, 2 were dismissed from the team and 2 were former scholarship kids who were not going to be starters
