2019 G5: STONY BROOK @ Rhode Island 7pm

Rhode Island may be winless, but it'd be foolish to assume they're an easy W. Their FCS losses have all been one possession, and they're playing at home.

SBU opens as -2 favorites.

I didn't think I'd like the blue pants, but with the white helmet and jersey I love them!! Very clean.

Uh..........

I was going to say something really vitriolic and angry, but Fields had other plans  ;D ;D. Wow.

Yeah.... Carbone could never have done that. Benefits of a dual threat quarterback.

that was the most perfect, textbook, onside kick ive ever seen.

i cant believe our stout defense gave up two late TDs so quick, on big plays.

but then- fields on 4th and 6 pulls out a 50 yard scramble, to win???

Another ugly win but this was really ugly we are not scoring like we should I hope to see more changes in offense in the future Happy Fields took things in his own hands!!

Besides the team winning its great to see Fields continue to mature. It is still early but he looks like the best QB I have seen since I became a season ticket holder 7 years ago. We lost Ty Son and Givens in the game and hopefully they wont miss much time. They are another 2 young players that look to be really good.
Here are the highlights from the game

Both Lawton and Givins will be evaluated either today or tomorrow to see if they will be missing time due to their injuries

You want national media attention? We got quite a lot after last night.

Three separate SportsCenter clips.

I love this!! We should take and relish every moment of positive attention on SBU and it's athletic programs. We'll have the opportunity for even more attention this weekend if we can take down JMU.
