I just read on Twitter that the only team to gain 100 yards rushing or more against JMU in 2019 was SBU

We were their closest game of the season other than their loss to WVU. So we've got that feather in our cap I guess.

SBU tends to play quite well against good opponents, JMU in particular, but against other teams in the CAA we just can't get it done.

Other then the Richmond game all the other CAA scores were very close so I would disagree with you that we didn’t play well especially with all of the injuries we had in 2019.

I’m going to make a prediction right now that SBU goes 8-3 next year or better and wins a playoff game

purely for discussion purposes- JMU loses a close one to NDSU.  buffalo goes 8-5 and blows up charlotte in the bahamas bowl 31-9.  USU loses to kent state 51-41 in the frisco bowl.
There are 29,413,039 corporations in America; but only one Chairman of the Board.

Most people who comment on this site would love to see Coach P and his staff fired for one reason or another so let’s say we ask the players what they think about the following; has Coach P and his staff prepared you to play each game every week, if you had the opportunity knowing what you know now would you still come to SBU and play for Coach P, in your opinion what do think of the offense and defense play calling, as a student how can we get your fellow students to come to a home game, how much in your opinion has all the injuries played with the season on the brink of not making the playoffs.
The reality is that if Coach P had the ability to take this program to the elite level of FCS football—which fans are right to expect for a high profile university like SBU—it would have happened by now. It’s become clear we have seen the best he can do for this program. It’s time to aim higher.

The program peaked, two or three years ago. How many losses in a row are we at right now? The penalties this season are out of hand. There seems to be little disipline on either side of the ball. Ty is very good but with few reliable targets. Our WR's created turnovers when balls have bounced off their helmets and chests. Running game seems to be sub par. They better find some more kids to add to the team in the fall. Wait until the new president hits her first game after covid and sees no one in the stands.
