In addition to Velez SBU is also getting QB Trey Berry who was supposed to go play Lacrosse at Utah but will come here and play football
I was told Trey Berry was given a preferred walk-on to play WR and NOT QB.. I dont get it. Ive known Trey forever and he never caught a single pass. Bizarre.
Meanwhile, JJ Lapp gets no offer from coach P but yet he was NYS top defensive player with the most interceptions.. Again, i don't get it..
It's pretty typical for high school qbs to move to WR. He probably doesn't have the arm strength to play qb in college.
