I worked a camp this summer with former player Winston Langdon and he had nothing but good things to say about Priore. He said that the unhappy kids are the ones that dont buy in.

Watching the highlights posted above (and knowing what went on last week) it seems to me that  Villanova and Maine may have been a bit underrated and UNH overrated in the preseason CAA poll. Jury still out on my favorite team.

Putting up 50 after you got shutout the week before should get you some positive reviews. Vut you would think reading some comments that they lost again. Yes penalties have to get cleaned up but anytime you put up 2 def td's and one on special teams your doing things to win games. As for Carbone, we all know he is not an NFL prospect and his comp % Sat was not great but he still accounted for 3 TD's ( 1 pas & 2 rush ) and no TO's. Again doing things that help teams win. I am really not sure what more couldve been expected. You always have things to clean up but putting up 50 at home after a terrible road lose is a step in the right direction.

A couple days removed and I'm actually really optimistic about this team following the Bryant game. I thought the team made a lot of mistakes that are uncharacteristic of Coach Priore teams that I'm sure will get cleaned up in the coming weeks. Otherwise I thought the team showed a ton of potential. It'll be interesting to see how the team gels and the rest of the season goes.

I also thought Carbone was a lot better than the numbers indicate.
