Sounds like great talent but until they play its just a talk.   Still prefer to  buyout Priore  and start fresh top to bottom on the coaching staff .
After this coming season there won't have to be a buyout. But, I have strong faith coach P contract will be renewed..

If we finish with a winning record, I definitely think he gets extended. If not then I think it's time to show him the door. This year was an anomaly in many ways since not only was the CAA schedule easier, we had a ton of fifth year and medical redshirt sixth year guys. You don't see that often. The schedule is harder next year and we lose a lot of guys. 2018 will be telling.

My thoughts exactly

I think Cochado redshirted at Sacred Heart University this year. (We did recruit him last year)

Cochado went to Sacred Heart because they gave him money and we offered him walk-on he realized he made a mistake and transferred here

That Rb they got from PA Rasul Faison had sick numbers his last two yrs. 5,100 yds and 69 tds. Also as of right now including the early signing period players SB has 56 kids from NY on the roster. The misconception is that they dont recruit locally but that number says a lot. They do have two hansen winners have had 7 in the last 11 yrs.

How did SB sign this kid. He is fast, smart and has really good field of vision down field. Rasul surely must have some FBS offers>>

From what I've seen, Faison's only other offer was from Monmouth.  Go figure.

The other outstanding running back SBU picked up (Ty'Son Lawson) should not be discounted either.  He looks every bit as talented as Faison.  No way RB is going to be our problem position next season!!

The big sleeper for the 2018 class is Danny Carroll out of Sachem North HS according many people in the football community he might turn out to be one of the best ever out of Sachem as he was constantly doubled and even triple teamed and he still made tackles. He's extremely athletic with a motor that doesn't stop.

According to the recruiting coordinator the theme of this class is its athleticism

Hammer, Love your passion but you are missing the boat on the preferred walk on program. It is not a negative. It allows the school to add extra kids to the roster without counting against scholarship limits. I have expkained the process before. These kids will recieve state aid, some of them will get full aid. They can earn a full scholarship anytime but if it is given before the finish their 2nd yr it counts against the original signing yr. Thats why you see the walk ons get redshirted, that buys the team an extra yr and you see that they will earn the scholarship when they head into their RS sophmore yr. All the schools do it including the FBS schools. Just look up an article on it and it will explain a lot. Clay Mathews was a prefered walk on at USC. With todays signings that brings the total # of in state kids to 60 I believe. You cant ask for more than that locally.
