im leaning towards CAA banner because of the reason i posted in the other thread. there is a geographic component to seeding, so it's possibly completely variable who may play anyway.
The bye week is a big deal. Getting that needed two week break is huge if you want success in the playoffs. Has anyone won the Championship without the Bye week? I haven't looked into it myself, but from the AGS board I saw multiple posters say that no one has pulled it off yet. I know we may not go deep in the playoffs but Its favorable nonetheless
Its good being able to tell your recruits that you compete at a high level and can make it deep into the playoffs.\
EDIT: Just saw your second post about the geographic implications. You are right. The way the FCS does it it's kinda crappy. The try to keep it regional to save on costs... The FCS doesn't draw too many fans to make up for the costs.
