Considering that Ben Holmes is not going to SB, they should have 1 more extra scholarship to offer. Is there a cutoff date to sign student athlete for this coming season???

It is my understanding you can add a player right up to classes beginning however they must get through the NCAA Clearing House without any issues first

Also from what I've been told the 2016 QB will be one of the QB's that's on the current roster Carbone, Irwin and Fields in that order

In talking to 3 Catholic HS Coaches last week they said while Fields is a great athlete he is not ready to be a starting College QB at this time

Thanks Campi47.. If what you are saying is true with Carbone being on #1 starter, I am not feeling it again for this team this season.. Lets face it. We all know the Quarterback position is the most important position on Offense, and if we dont have that this year, we're finished. You can only run up the guy so many times in a game..

I went to the 1st scrimmage and it was okay as a lot of the young guys played also it looks like they have move Isaiah White to LB so the RB"s rotation should be Bedel, Gowins and Liotine in no particular order. Another thing I know it's only practice but Carbone looks much improved

Carbone stayed all summer; no major injuries & it's going to be hot ass hell this weekend on the field.... This team has much better depth then last year on D & Offence.

good to hear that Joe stuck around this summer and worked on his craft.  he is our guy, so I hope he will get the job done.  but in fairness to him, I really hope the play calling is better this year than the last few years.  with our new co-offensive coordinator, P should not be calling the plays.

This should make you feel fuzzy inside. Listen to coach P! :-)

Already have enough running backs in the stable; you never have enough of good DB w speed.

Jerome Brooks is a walk on freshmen out of St. John the Baptist every year Coach P brings in about a dozen of these players to see if they have what it takes to play at DIAA level this is the same way they brought Donald Liotine in most of the walk-ons become useful in some capacity down the road. There were only 11 freshmen players who were scholarship players this year and none of them were QB's or RB's so ignore it when you see players listed on the roster at those positions that already have lots of players there.
