I don't know if it's been mentioned yet, but the 2015 is up. http://www.stonybrookathletics.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/ston-m-footbl-mtt.html

Any surprises?

Nothing earth-shattering.  Of course a significant number of incoming freshman are as yet unlisted, since they're not yet officially enrolled.

A couple of minor points:

--Good to see Dimitry Russ back on the roster after he disappeared from the Spring roster.  Anyone know what that was about?

--Looks like Connor Davis is finally going to get a shot at TE after his prolonged injuries and being listed as a DE last season.

I heard that Bednarski is on-track to be fully recovered and at full strength following his off season shoulder surgery by the time summer camp starts in early August.

That's is terrific news Conor is on track to be 100% at the start of training camp.. He should should have a little more protection this year up front giving him more time to find an open receiver!!!!

Three starters have had a good off season rehabbing from last year injuries; this is great news. SB has a great PT staff; i believe these players will be at there best by August.....

Having Connor B & Connor D on offence side health should help a lot...

Having Russ back on D healthy will be a huge...

I am looking forward to see some new wrinkles on offence this season....

I think D looks strong...

I am also planning to be at the Toledo game fly or drive; it will be a good test for these players. They are well coach & they have a good team in Toledo.

this story is about 3 weeks old....  we are three weeks out from the start of SB Football 2015.  I hear that the boys are very excited about this year's team and its prospects.

James Madison dismisses three football players

Harrisonburg, VA (SportsNetwork.com) - James Madison football coach Everett Withers dismissed three players from the program Wednesday following their offseason suspensions. Two were starters last season.

The three were starters Jimmy Moreland, a cornerback coming off a big freshman season, and Rhakeem Stallings, a linebacker entering his junior campaign, and K.J. Ford, a nose guard who was redshirted as a freshman last season.

According to the Richmond Times-Dispatch, the three were charged with petit larceny of less than $200 not from a person, a misdemeanor, on March 19, following an incident on Feb. 16.

"It is my responsibility to grow and mentor young people as we take our journey through the process of building a culture in the JMU football program," Withers said. "We must establish a foundation that seeks competitive excellence on and off the field. We set standards and we mentor our student-athletes to meet those standards. Unfortunately, these three young men are no longer associated with James Madison University football due to violations of our team core values and disregard for the legal system. When individuals threaten the integrity of our team, appropriate action will be taken."

Moreland had three interceptions and five blocked kicks and scored a pair of touchdowns as James Madison went 9-4 and qualified for the FCS playoffs last season.

Stallings ranked third on the team with 80 tackles.

If we can keep our offence on the field against JMU would be great; they have a good mobile QB who can run & throw. It will be are issue playing them.

we gave JMU and WM real runs for their money.  Coach P went conservative against JMU last year and we lost.  remember how we came out firing and kicked their butts in the first half.  then coach P went for the TD instead of kicking a FG and it was down hill after that.  as for WM, if not for our DB falling down on a pass play, we win that game.  I'm excited for this season.  who steps up to replace Coxson and Wil Tye??
