On Comcast SportsNet and also on CBS College Sports.  Bednarski to start at QB.

Towson just lost a close one to Maine and sits at 2-3 (0-1).

Towson is having a tough season so far, especially considering they made it to the FCS champ game last year.  we have a real good shot at this game, even if its on the road.

We have a decent  shot at Towson. They lost a lot from last years  to graduation including West.

In Twitter:  @sbusports: Coach Priore says that Bednarski succeeded at eliminating negative plays from under center in his first start. #GoSeawolves

I think Towson fans, just like us, are shocked with this years Football record  and really have nothing to say. It's a shame we are 1-4 at this point because  have a tremendous amount of athletes on this years team...Feels like a wasted year!!!

I watched the Towson v. Maine game last night on a SNY replay.  Towson had the game won with about 3 minutes left to go.  they gave up a long drive to Maine that included at least two 4 and 10 yards to go situations, which Maine connected on.  the final one included a 4th and 10 and the Maine QB threw a 30 yd TD pass.  so in short, Towson will be just as jacked up to win this game as I hope we are, since we both found ways to lose last weekend.  Looks like Towson has some good players on O and D.

The most shocking thing this season (aside from four straight losses to FCS teams) is Coker. He goes from one of the top FBS running backs in 2011 to a middling FCS back in 2014. I'd blame it on the poor O line but Bedell is putting up decent numbers. Coker may have never fully recovered from his injuries.

I agree. I think Coker never got back to 100% with his conditioning.. He was out all of last year with the Abdominal injury plus, broke his leg in the off season. That's  one year of not working out hard with weights and running. I say his Football carrier as an elite RB is officially over. Lets just hope Bedell stays healthy for the remainder of the year!

Very sad news today out of William Floyd High school, on Long Island close to SB.. A 16 year old boy died yesterday playing football. He is a Lineman/linebacker but was playing offense and took a real hard hit to the head and died at the Hospital shortly there after.. My condolences go out to the Family and players from the school. My boy plays lineman for Murphy Junior High school and this really hit home for me this morning........ We can send a Tomahawk missile from a submarine a 1000 miles away and hit the top of a pin but we can improve the helmets that are being used since the early 80's. I don't get it!!!!!!!!

Boy. That must be painful for the family. What a terrible accident. So unfortunate. This game we all love can really be dangerous. I wish these things wouldn't happen. Something needs to be done to lessen the risk but to be honest, I don't know exactly what...

Rest in peace young man!
