Sioux Fan, thanks for fining us.  sounds like our offensive strategies of running the ball will be similar.  looking forward to seeing our boys under the Dome this weekend.  we had some grumbling here in SB-country about the state of our team this season.  hopefully a win this weekend will propel us into confernce play.

I see from the depth chart that Coach P has lined up the two red shirt freshmen as the LT and LG.  that has to be a bit scary for the QBs, as these two guys will be guarding the QB's blindside.  Bednarski got lit up with a monster sack from the blindside last week.  one of the most hellacious hits I've seen a SB QB take in some time.  that cant happen this week, or our QBs will have happy feet in the pocket.

BFF. If you look at our Roster We are loaded up with freshmans on the OL and a couple of Sophomores are small in size. My thinking is, Coach P has no choice but to start our Freshmans and give them some more playing time so next year they are better. Our RS/F are pretty big. 6'3" 300 pounds respectively,  where  some of the older Offensive lineman are smaller in size.. These guys will be good next year and the year after, no doubt. This year is a rebuilding year for SB!!

It kinda stinks being a Quarterback this year for SB considering the lack of protection up front. College is so different then the pro's. Ever year coaches have to scramble trying to find replacements because of graduation...For years we had a strong line with Bike Mike, Hernandez, Diaz up front blocking for maysonet and protecting the Quarterbacks.. We will one day have another strong line, but big changes need to be made first!!

Hammer, I hear you, but the right side of the line has Lisi (Sr), Johnson (SR) and Precht (Sr) holding down the fort.  but our QB's blindside is being held down by two redshirt freshmen.  http://www.goseawolves.org/sports/m-footbl/spec-rel/2010-football-depth-chart-stony-brook.html

however, we have Hubshman and Boothe, both Jrs which started last year, at second string on the Left Side.

Lisi, Johnson and Precht are all seniors.. Could be another problem going forward next year. Then again, 100 different things can happen from now until next year!!!

this game was so F'd up for two reasons:

    • John Kinder is a terrible QB.  three drives inside the twenty five and we got ZERO points.  Hopefully this is his last game at QB
Coach P is stubborn bullheaded coach.  he refused to change up QBs even as the ship was sinking right in front of him. Shame on him.  He owes Bednarski an apology for putting him in for FOUR plays to throw four bombs, of which he was sacked twice. Kinder should not have returned to the field in the second half, let alone after a pick-six, or after the sack fumble.  Coach P is out of his freaking mind.  arrogance

Our D played their hearts out, and Coach P let this team sink right into the sewer.

Mind blowing that this coaching staff hasn't figured it out by now. I'm going to the W&M game at Homecoming next week. Hate to say it but I don't expect to be cheering this team on for a win. At this point I simply plan on enjoying just another college football game. Hope I'm wrong.

From the SB Sports page:"Senior John Kinder (Inwood, N.Y.) enjoyed his best game as a Seawolf..." The offense scores three points and this is his best game. That says it all.

Wolfstock will be the best part of the day. Good food, good people and Beer...  At this point in time I enjoy watching the kids play their hearts out for a win. Lets not give up on the players because of the inept Offensive coaching staff calling JV plays!!!!

Yeah, those victories by Albany against North Dakota State, Alabama, and Florida State will definitely propel them to the top 20 and maybe the top 10.
